Progressive Muscle Relaxation
With this relaxation technique, first attention is directed successively to individual muscle groups by consciously flexing up each separately. Their following willful relaxation then is easier to do and is perceived better. Thus, through the body´s relaxation also emotional relaxation is achieved.
At the end, the guided installation of an inner image of rest which the client’s fantasy can adjust to his individual needs, deepens this comfortable state.
Depending on the issues and needs of the client I use PMR in consulting, coaching and therapy. I also offer PMR in relaxation training courses.
